1. Architectural Rendering



This drawing of the Bradford University's Atrium building shows great perspective. The vantage point chosen for the drawing was well thought out as it is clearly visible that the Atrium building is the focal point of this drawing. 
Other areas of interest are the building in the front which has very detailed shading and the building towards the back with windows which are also very detailed in shading. 
The horizon line for the drawing is under the image evidence of this is seen by finding the vanishing points which are both located to the far bottom left and far bottom right of the drawing.

The composition of the drawing is also very good as you are able to clearly tell the focal point of the drawing and which are the areas of interest. The composition also works well as the drawing uses the rule of thirds as the focal point lies perfectly within it. 
The shading of the buildings show that the light source was coming from the top left of the drawing, the self-shadowing on the Atrium building was done really well as you can see the contours of the roof and how the shape of it is curved.
